I have loads of pictures of my parents new cat. I fell in love with the little bugger. Man is he ever bad. And cute. He could be in the middle of feasting on a human corpse and he's still look sweet.

This weekend has been both productive and relaxing. On the first point, K and I went and saw an appartment near my office (both the current office, as well as the next one). It was quite nice (and CHEAP, compared to the place we're in now). It's definitely a candidate.

Afterwards I went and had my hair dyed. I'm back to badass-red Kim as oppsed to dull-blonde Kim.

Oh yes. Joe. It's hard. Japanese Rain Man hard. Even on the "Kids" level. I am so not hard core.

HENSHIN A GO-GO, BABY!

Viewtiful Joe is AMAZING. Great controls, great sound, jaw-dropping use of cel-shading. I am gushing. GUSHING. I always liked beat-em-ups. They had this replayable charm about them. Joe has it in spades. Having said that, my hands are in agony. It's a price I'm willing to pay.

I passed a shiny new red Escalade on the way home from work. The urge to key it was almost impossible to resist. I was holding my keys at the time and my hand instinctivly moved towards it and only at the last second was I able to stop myself. I've been feeling quite emotional lately. I think I wanted a release. My doctor was unhappy with my blood tests and decided to double my medication. Perhaps I'm feeling some side effects.

Irregardless of pharmaceutical, I really hate those things. Fucking SUVs.

My Sidereal book is shipping. I am so excited! But I don't know why. It has the potential to be the coolest of the lot, but I'll probably never get any real use out of it. Also, I am very surprised that it's #55 on the Amazon sales chart (#26 according to their best sellers list, whatever that means). I really didn't think Exalted was that popular.

We're in the middle of a (milestone) release cycle at work. I've been thinking about it and I've come to realize that I've worked on more solid releases in the past 10 months at this job than I have at the rest of my jobs combined (over the past 5 years). Not that I didn't do a lot of work at previous jobs... they were just lacking direction and an organized, coherent release. I guess that's the difference between IBM and 6 people in a room.
