I am excited for this game to a degree I’m not entirely comfortable with. The game itself isn’t really my bag - turn based combat has always been a chore for me (with the exception of Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, which I managed to put 120+ hours into). However, I adore Penny Arcade and I can’t wait for hours of interaction with some of my favorite comic characters. Although I was miffed that it wouldn’t be available for the PS3 (at least initially) I have changed my mind on that front somewhat. Having it on my laptop will ultimately allow me to play it more - the PS3 is often the nexus for awkward resource contentions these days.

Hi Kim!
Totally off topic, but I remember you had a really awesome tattoo of what looked like cute plump girlies climbing along cherry blossom branches - where was that design from? I’m going insane because I have no idea what to search for; link plz?
Thanks a bunch,
Masha

Hiya,
I was just goofing off at work and a search for some software brought me here. I usually don’t fawn over or wait for games to launch; but I’m PUMPED about the PA game. Super stoked in fact. I thought it was cool that I’m into the game because I like the turn based rpg style, and hated FF Tactics! So weird.
Anyways I like your blog, and I like cats to.

Hmmm… I’m the opposite. I don’t find PA funny in the slightest but I love turn-based games (Advanced Wars, Fallout, Jagged Alliance…).
Maybe I’ll pick it up on Xbox Live Arcade.
