Painting

I sat down to paint tonight for the first time in about two months.  I painted two things for my dad just after my mom died but other than that my heart just hasn’t been into it.  I thought I’d kick start it tonight by forcing myself to paint something benign, but it didn’t work.  Oh boy, it didn’t work at all.  What I’ve come up with looks really bad.   It’s like I’ve forgotten everything I learned in class…

I’m going to try a few more things tomorrow to see if I can’t get past it.  I’m the type of person to be easily discouraged.  If I dont kick the funk I’m not sure I’ll get back into it again.
